Special Needs Logistics LLC funds and coordinates prepaid car service transportation for special needs students

Information for School Districts

Transportation For Special Needs Students

School districts may experience challenges implementing special education transportation, and may approve car service as an alternative form of transportation for students. When this happens, and parents are unable to front the cost of the car service, or the transportation issues are anticipated to be longer term, litigation often ensues.

Special Needs Logistics offers a solution by coordinating and funding prepaid student rideshare service. School districts can contract with Special Needs Logistics, authorize Special Needs Logistics as an approved vendor, or provide legally binding documentation (a settlement, mediation or resolution agreement with a parent) demonstrating the district’s commitment to pay for the student’s alternative transportation.

This service minimizes administrative paperwork by the school district and provides students with the transportation accommodations they are entitled to.

Transportation For Homeless Students

If any homeless students require car service transportation to the schools in your district, we can assist with coordinating and arranging such transportation using rideshare companies. We work directly with the parent or guardian to coordinate the service.
